Plodzik and Sanderson Professional Associations internship program is designed to provide students the opportunity to experience the "real life" of a staff level auditor. Our internship program is designed to give interns the same type of work and training as our entry-level staff auditors. As a result, the overall internship experience is designed to be challenging, educational, and meaningful. Currently Plodzik and Sanderson, PA offer spring and summer internships that typically last 8-12 weeks.
At Plodzik and Sanderson, Professional Association interns are exposed in-house and on-the-job instruction as part of our hands on training process. Throughout your internship experience, you will work in a dynamic and engaging environment alongside experienced members of the Plodzik and Sanderson team. Interns are exposed to the same type of work as our entry level staff auditors. You will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of governmental accounting/auditing by working on various stages of the audit, which may include fieldwork in the areas of compliance testing, cash, accounts receivable, inventories, fixed assets, accounts payable and accruals.
Throughout your internship, you will receive feedback on your performance, which will culminate in a final evaluation at the end of your internship. We also welcome your feedback - on our internship program and anything else you might want to tell us about.
